Meet Jason Meadows
Jason Meadows is the proud son of Bishop O. L. Meadows and Joe Ann Meadows. Jason and his family have served the City of Birmingham for over 50 years with humility and excellence.
He has been married for 15 years and is a father of four amazing little humans. His family means more than words can describe and he counts the joy of being a father as one of his greatest blessings.
Jason has lived in District 9 for over 30 years in the Smithfield Estates neighborhood and has served as a Youth Pastor in the Smithfield Community for 14 years, mentoring hundreds of young women and men.
Jason graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.A. in Business Marketing. He went on to serve as Manager of Community Partners within Oliver Elementary where he was responsible for facilitating wrap around services that included food, clothing, health other important resources for students. He has recently assumed the role of Director of Community Engagement and Development for Woodlawn United.
He is also the president of the Alabama Men’s ministry for the Church of God In Christ and remains devoted to empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
He has served as a volunteer with The Achievers in Life Mentoring Program and The Man Project, organizations committed to character building and leadership development.
Over the years, he has trained a countless number of community members on how to effectuate change in their neighborhoods. He has created and executed mental health retreats within the school system for teachers and developed homeownership classes for parents. Jason has committed his life to building a better Birmingham for generations to come.
